DESIGN/BUILD PRACTICUM 2013

Join this design-build immersion course to learn skills in developing architecture which brings together the disjointed fields of building design and construction!

We’re looking for a few good designers, builders, engineers, crafters, and managers to join us in creating integrated architecture!

This practicum addresses the needs defined by the core philosophy of D2R; that designing and building are interconnected, and in order to do one well, you must have a deep understanding of the other.

Starting with the initial design process and continuing through completed construction of one or more buildings, this course combines aspects of a sustainable design course, a design studio, a series of natural and green building workshops, and a sustainable building project.

Practicum dates are April 1st to October 31st.
